Setting the Standard for Nail Care
As a Beauty Bar, you might think our No. 1 priority is to leave you looking gorgeous. But the most important thing we can do is ensure your health and safety (and that of our employees) at every appointment.
We’ve all heard horror stories about nail salons that didn’t follow the rules when it came to sanitation. That’s why at Ella Bliss, we take the phrase “Safety First” seriously. In addition to our own high standards of care for our nail guests, we follow all Department of Regulatory Agencies (that’s DORA for short) cosmetology guidelines for sanitation to the letter.
Here are just a few of the ways we’re keeping you safe while making you shine:
- Cleaning and Disinfecting – Absolutely everything from the tiniest nail tools to the footbath tubs is cleaned, scrubbed and disinfected to make sure no germs stick around.
- Personal Hygiene – Those hand washing signs in the bathroom aren’t just for show. Every tech and esthetician at Ella Bliss follows strict personal hygiene codes before and after interacting with our guests.
- We love recycling, but not when it comes to tools like emery boards, pumice stones, or cotton balls. You can be sure that the first fingers or toes to touch these tools will be yours, and that we dispose of them after each use.
Unfortunately, keeping our guests and employees safe sometimes means saying “no,” such as when a guest has an infection, plantar wart or injury. If we are unable perform a desired service, we’ll do everything we can to accommodate you with a different, approved service that same day or book another appointment for you in the future
